What is Geekcon?
Geekcon began on November 4th, 2017, and has been growing ever since.
Twice a year, DGI Huset in Vordingborg transforms into a vibrant meeting point for fans, creators, collectors, gamers, cosplayers, retro enthusiasts, and lovers of Japanese pop culture alike.

At its heart, Geekcon is a community.
It’s where 80s nostalgia meets modern anime energy.
Where trading cards, tabletop games, arcade memories, manga panels, fantasy worlds and sci-fi universes all coexist under the same roof.
Whether you grew up with pixelated heroes or discovered your passion through Japanese pop culture, there is space for you here.

Geekcon is built by fans, for fans.
A dedicated core team of twelve members – supported by passionate volunteers – works behind the scenes to create an event that feels welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely inclusive. The atmosphere is friendly and down-to-earth. You don’t have to “fit a type” to belong. If you love something deeply, you already fit in.

People of all ages come together at Geekcon.
Families, longtime collectors, curious newcomers, competitive gamers, cosplayers bringing characters to life, and those simply looking for a day surrounded by like-minded people.
What makes Geekcon different is not just the variety of interests represented – it’s the sense of togetherness. It’s cozy without being small. Energetic without being overwhelming.

In short:
Geekcon is a community built on passion and belonging.
No matter your age, background, experience, or interests, you have a place here.
We celebrate diversity, respect, and curiosity, and strive to create a safe space where everyone can share their love of geek culture.
"It's one of the absolute best places for all of us geeks. No matter what you're into, there's something for you here."
Flemming Schultz
